PS3 home review

I know this has basically nothing to do with guitar but I happen to enjoy playing video games, and even making them when the mood hits me. I have been waiting to try PS3 home. For those who don’t know, it is a free mini-world, pseudo-environment, where people go to pretend they are playing second live I suppose…? It is SO BAD that I honestly cant understand why they spent 2 years on this or whatever…? I honestly think I could have topped this in under 1 year. All you do is walk around and have advertisements thrown in your face from all over nonstop. A big thumbs down from me. I did think it was funny to walk around in there looking like a fat crazy garbageman and yelling weird things to people.
I’ve stayed away from those kinds of games, and most video games in general (I don’t own a game console, but we have a Nintendo DS for my daughter). I was surprised when video games became a channel for music, like that crime game that Snoop Dogg ended up on. Any good music in PS3 Home?
The Nintendo DSi’s a great thing, but Nintendo should bring out more games for it…
